Another night has slipped away
I see the sunlight coming
I sigh because I think of you
And know you're out there running

I already know the answer
But still, I have to wonder
If when you stop to be with me
Will you just stop forever

I know that you've been doing this
A long while you have told me
You had to so you'd have it all
And this would make you happy

I don't wish for anything bad
And I won't say I'm much better
But I do know what you really need
You should stay still for winter

And then if you still choose to run
Know that I'll be behind you
